Reloved Design Competition
Calling all Sustainable Fashion Designers! Put your upcycling skills to the test. Redesign a top, dress or pair of trousers which showcase your upcycling skills to create a wearable new garment. A panel of industry experts will judge competition entries based on creativity, transformation skills and sustainability.
The top five entries to the competition will be showcased in a TRAID shop window and will win a full retail experience with styling advice, as well as £50 in vouchers to spend in a TRAID charity shop. The overall winner will also receive a sewing machine to help them with future upcycling projects.
All participants will have the chance to get a free garment from a pre-selected stock of clothing in a TRAID store for use in the competition, or you can use a garment of your own. The dates available to collect the items of clothing from the TRAID Shop are as follow:
- Saturday 11th Jan between 11am and 1pm (Traid Shop in Dalston)
- Tuesday 14th Jan between 3 and 5pm (Traid Shop in Dalston)
- Thursday 16th Jan between 2 and 4pm (Traid Shop in Wood Green)
