The Brent Repair Café is a free community event where participants will learn how to mend damaged clothes and can attend a talk to understand the issues behind the fashion industry. The Brent Fixing Factory will also be hosting an interactive laptop repair demonstration, showcasing the work happening at Abbey Road Reuse and Recycling Centre.

For the mending workshop, participants are asked to bring along one or two items of clothing that are in need of repair and we will teach them how to mend them. We will have examples of clothes that have been repaired, as well as materials to practice on.

All our workshops are suitable for those with no previous skills and we provide all materials needed.
