Repair Cafes create a space for people to come together, gain new skills and extend the life of their much-loved clothes. We provide sewing materials, advice and instruction on how to mend holes, take up hems and sew on buttons to give clothes a new lease of life. Through active mending we aim to divert clothes from landfill by extending the life of our clothes while inspiring people to learn a new skill.
If you would like more information on costings or to make a booking, please contact Education Programme Coordinator Hannah Fairley by email.
Stay tuned for the launch of our brand-new education programme towards the end of 2019 which will be packed with new activities and resources to inspire and generate behavioural change. Using solution driven activities, and experiential learning opportunities, we will explore and challenge our unsustainable relationship with clothes to create the next generation of change makers.
