Disaster Volunteers of Ghana – Youth Football Team, Ghana

In October 2006, TRAID donated £625 to the Disaster Volunteers of Ghana Youth Football Team Project. The money was used to purchase new kit for the players, ages 15-17, so that they could play in their local competitive league. The players' feet are outfitted in second-hand football boots that have been donated to TRAID. The team won their first game 3-2!
