Although TRAID is a financially self-sustaining organisation, we are always very grateful for any financial support we receive. Donated funds will be used to purchase new textile recycling banks, sponsor a school visit, or be ring-fenced for TRAID‘s emergency appeals fund.

TRAID most urgently needs money for new textile recycling banks. The cost of one bank is £550. A bank lasts for at least 5 years and collects an average of 26 tonnes of unwanted clothing and shoes during its lifetime. Funds generated from the sale of these clothes support sustainable development projects overseas, and help to educate pupils in the UK about environmental issues.
